Beginner Guide — How to Play Pixel Lineage

Updated · Basics

Quick answer

Pick Warrior, use your free race spins, redeem the codes, then run Act 1. In fights, press on time when you attack for bonus damage and when enemies attack to dodge or block. Energy starts at 1 and grows by 1 each turn — Meditate if you need more. Each hero has only 3 lives, so don't throw them away.

Your first 10 minutes

  1. Pick a class. Warrior is the safest start. Your class is permanent on this hero.
  2. Roll your race. You get 3 free spins — keep a Mythic if you hit one (race tier list).
  3. Redeem codes. Join the group first, then use the Goblin Merchant — TORMENT, LEGENDS, 0y0 and SAKURA give spins, gold and extra lives (codes).
  4. Start Act 1 (Sunmeadow Wilds). Floor 10 is the boss. Beating it opens Act 2, where you choose your Super class.

Combat basics

Between floors

After each floor the party votes on a route card — Camp to heal, Shop for potions, Trainer’s Shrine for your Super class, Blood Altar to trade HP for gold, and more (all route cards).

FAQ

What is the best class for beginners?

Warrior — highest HP and defense and simple attacks, so you can learn the timing. Archer is the other easy option; pick Bard if you play with friends.

How does combat work?

It's turn-based with timing prompts: hit the prompt when attacking for extra damage, and when enemies attack to dodge or block. Higher difficulties shrink the timing window.

How many players can play together?

Up to 4. The party shares the route and the loot.
